A bit on the nose, and bit too sentimental for me。 But I still enjoyed it and was glad to have read it。
Barbara Cryer,
TearjerkerYep。 I cried。 A good story of friendship, loyalty and second chances。 The Wisconsin connection made me grin too。 Good book
Norma O。 Burchardt,
Loved it!A compelling subject, an enthralling journey and a satisfying conclusion。 And best of all, it was not sappy。 It was real。
Ashley,
The beginning of this book reminded me of a friendship I used to have but don’t anymore, and it really made me want to repair it。 I crave female friendship as an adult, and I loved reading about the bond of these women。 I think it was just the book I needed right now, because it hit all the right notes。
Sarah,
Better than I thoughtI got the book for free from Prime First and wasn't strongly attracted to it but it seemed better than the other choices。 The first couple chapters did nothing for me and I almost just left it but somewhere in the text I got hooked and had to know what came next。 It's not a deep book like it thinks it is and so many things are inconsistent like a sleep disorder that seems to disappear and _ well I don't want to give away spoilers but I was still charmed by the characters and Better than I thoughtI got the book for free from Prime First and wasn't strongly attracted to it but it seemed better than the other choices。 The first couple chapters did nothing for me and I almost just left it but somewhere in the text I got hooked and had to know what came next。 It's not a deep book like it thinks it is and so many things are inconsistent like a sleep disorder that seems to disappear and _ well I don't want to give away spoilers but I was still charmed by the characters and their antics。 。。。more

I don't know what to say。This is a ridiculous story。 It's cliché and completely unbelievable from beginnen to end。 While reading I was often shaking my head, muttering: 'Oh come on!' And yet I liked reading it。 I felt feelings。 I even smiled a coupe of times。 So I don't know。 2,5 stars and round them up? Patricia,
Hard to put down! What started out as a simple trip to regain custody of a huge, beloved dog, turned out to be a series of unplanned and totally unexpected events。 This was more than a story about a dog, but a love story about friendships--new, old, and renewed。 There was enough fantasy to keep me dreaming, courage to keep me rooting for the characters, happiness to keep me smiling, antics to make me laugh, and sadness to keep it real。 I enjoyed the journey, and could easily see this as a made fo Hard to put down! What started out as a simple trip to regain custody of a huge, beloved dog, turned out to be a series of unplanned and totally unexpected events。 This was more than a story about a dog, but a love story about friendships--new, old, and renewed。 There was enough fantasy to keep me dreaming, courage to keep me rooting for the characters, happiness to keep me smiling, antics to make me laugh, and sadness to keep it real。 I enjoyed the journey, and could easily see this as a made for TV movie。 。。。more

Life changing road trip This book was fun and yet still sad at moments。 It was a good read that demonstrates life; love, fear, loss, acceptance, shame and so much more。

Girl's Trip for All the Right ReasonsFun, but, intelligent journey through women's long-term friendships。 Lots of lessons learned, misunderstandings identified。 Very enjoyable and not predictable。 Recommend。 Girl's Trip for All the Right ReasonsFun, but, intelligent journey through women's long-term friendships。 Lots of lessons learned, misunderstandings identified。 Very enjoyable and not predictable。 Recommend。 。。。more

Easy read。 Easy quick enjoyable feel-good read。 Women will likely relate to at least one if the characters in this story。 Good。

It worked! 🎶Excellent book I had randomly chosen。 100% real life relatable。 Touches on a vast array of what life throws at you through the years and how you decide to face those challenges are up to you。 If fortunate enough to meet the "Rocky Road" with some friends by your side, the adventure of life can certainly become an enjoyable bowl of ice cream to be shared and talked with afterward instead of a life of potholes and changing of tires。 I thoroughly enjoyed the laughs, the odd ball moments It worked! 🎶Excellent book I had randomly chosen。 100% real life relatable。 Touches on a vast array of what life throws at you through the years and how you decide to face those challenges are up to you。 If fortunate enough to meet the "Rocky Road" with some friends by your side, the adventure of life can certainly become an enjoyable bowl of ice cream to be shared and talked with afterward instead of a life of potholes and changing of tires。 I thoroughly enjoyed the laughs, the odd ball moments, the loss, the realness, pain, and joy- the journey they took。 Well done。 I recommend this book。 👍 。。。more

This book was our May read for Bold Beginnings Book Club。 I chose this book b/c of the comedy, light-hearted factor indicated in the book's highlights。 The beginning of the book put me on edge b/c we have club members in a similar situation。 However in the end, this was a perfect choice for the club and offered much to discuss。 Love the way the author wrote this book! Nichole Forsyth,
This book was very slow to get started。 I stuck it out because the story line seemed interesting, and tbh I thought it would make me cry。 Katie, holly and Sam’s other best friend, has been told her cancer is back。 She asks Holly and Sam to travel cross country to rescue her dog that she lost in a divorce。 Along the way holly and Sam meet Summer who rags along on the adventure。 The only reason I continued reading, was to find out why Holly and Sam had a falling out after graduation。 I figured it This book was very slow to get started。 I stuck it out because the story line seemed interesting, and tbh I thought it would make me cry。 Katie, holly and Sam’s other best friend, has been told her cancer is back。 She asks Holly and Sam to travel cross country to rescue her dog that she lost in a divorce。 Along the way holly and Sam meet Summer who rags along on the adventure。 The only reason I continued reading, was to find out why Holly and Sam had a falling out after graduation。 I figured it out on my own halfway through but I wanted to read on to make sure I was correct。 Summer, and the cute hospital staff member Drew, were the only characters I liked。 I couldn’t get connected to the others。 The book was ok enough for me to finish, but the ending was rushed。 I did not feel a sense of closure, it was just over like “oh this is the end now” it was kind of anti-climatic。 I rated 3 instead of 2 stars, simply because there were a couple times I giggled out loud, mainly when it came to Summers antics, and I think those moments were what held my interest enough to finish the book。 。。。more
Khoward50,
Great characters in this story。 This was a quick read and nice change of pace。 Still some heavy questions but the humor made it fun to read。 Summer was excellent addition to cast of characters。 Without Summer, story would have dragged。 😁
Katheryn Hyde,
Thoroughly engaging Such a good story of friendship, personal growth and the enduring glue of true sister-love。 I loved each one of these women as personal friends and was sad to see the story end。
Mike,
So so read。。。。not really the kind of book I enjoy。 Further, something was wrong with the e-delivery。。。serveral chapters were missing。
Jennifer,
Loved this!I could relate to each of these characters, their ups and downs, tears and laughter。 A funny, but not always light hearted read about some amazing women and the beauty of friendship。
Kimberly Sparks,
What a wonderful read。。。I really enjoyed this book。 The characters were fun and their interactions between each other made me laugh out loud。
Rebecca WAdsworth,
Fun and uplifting A sweet funny escapade that deals with so many emotions and tough realities and does it all with grace and humor。 A pleasure to read。
Stephenie McIntyre,
It did。。。What a joyous book。 I laughed and cried as I followed this crazy trio on the journey of a lifetime。
Sarah,
I really liked this。 It has good hijinx, a small twist/reveal at the end, and lots of good female personalities。But in the first couple pages the author refers to "ovarian-cancer-peach" thank you notes。 Ovarian Cancer's awareness ribbon color is teal。 Any 2 second Google search will tell you that。 And as someone who cares deeply for another person in remission from Ovarian Cancer, this is just a little detail an author HAS to get correct。 I really liked this。 It has good hijinx, a small twist/reveal at the end, and lots of good female personalities。But in the first couple pages the author refers to "ovarian-cancer-peach" thank you notes。 Ovarian Cancer's awareness ribbon color is teal。 Any 2 second Google search will tell you that。 And as someone who cares deeply for another person in remission from Ovarian Cancer, this is just a little detail an author HAS to get correct。 。。。more
